[It was a very exciting morning in the Takasu-Veronica-san household when he opened that box, it's true, and he's been difficult to part from his polar bear since then. Her size is the only thing keeping him from trying to make her comfortable inside but he does what he can.

Furuya almost doesn't notice the change in the way Kominato-kun is holding his hand, but when it does sink in, he's glad Kominato-kun is behind him and can't see his face. It feels nice and natural, Kominato-kun's smaller hand in his, and he tightens his grip just a little to try to say so. This is OK.

He stops near the back door to grab a jacket and slip on some shoes, then opens it on a crystal clear, cold night, complete with Yukiko puffing misty breaths from her spot near the pool.]

I saw them at the Asahiyama Zoo when I was younger. They have a display that lets you get really close.

[He does his best to be both a good host and good friend and good bear owner, waiting until Kominato-kun is next to him again before walking them toward Yukiko. The bear, for her part, seems interested but not enough to close the distance herself.]

It's... it's really great. There are so many animals here but they never seem to stay. I hope she does.
